Work site environment • Outdoors • At heights Work setting • Various locations Responsibilities Tasks • Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required • Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc. • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc. • Fill cracks and holes using fillers such as putty and plaster • Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish. • Apply varnish and other finishes • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach necessary rigging • Apply specialty finishes such as sponging, ragging, or layering • Follow and comply with all health and safety protocols on job sites Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience • Airless spray equipment • Brush painting • Roller painting Additional information Security and safety • Bondable • Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities • Attention to detail • Hand-eye co-ordination • Ability to distinguish between colours • Bending, crouching, kneeling • Physically demanding Weight handling • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment • Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability • Client focus • Efficient interpersonal skills • Flexibility • Reliability • Team player How to apply By Email hiring.nlpdl@gmail.com By mail 120- 172 Clearview Drive Red Deer County, ABT4E 0A1
