If the issue cannot be resolved, then the supervisor would get the name and phone number of the guest and forward them to the Manager for follow-up. • Be able to Direct or instruct staff on duties to perform; Be able to manage all staff efficiently to effectively achieve labour budget. • Ensure the general safety of staff and patrons by contacting appropriate authorities should the situation warrant. • At close, perform necessary checks and ensure that the restaurant building is properly shut and secured and that all alarms are activated. • Inspect lounge service areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup, and monitor that staff have performed their duties efficiently. • Assist in the motivation of staff, particularly during heavy shifts, and ensure guests are being served promptly and up to standards. • Speak with all guests to ensure satisfaction with food/drink and service and provide feedback. • Supervise and coordinate promotions/specials for the lounge to ensure that promotions are launched on time and staff are fully knowledgeable on how/what is required for each promotion/special. • Train and supervise all staff. • Ensure all product is ordered to ensure proper pars for business levels. • Ensure all daily counts are being completed and any discrepancies are directed to the Manager. • Ensure proper pours on beer, wine, draft, and shots minimizing waste and monitoring theft. • Ensure the staff are aware/fully knowledgeable of the Teams program, and how to process and sign up each team.
