Child caregiver - private home (AC Family)

Child Caregiver need for busy family (work in employer's home in an urban area, public transportation available nearby, non-smoking environment) Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: this is NOT a condition of employment. 35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full time Shifts: Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend; flexible hours; overtime required and overtime available Start date: Starts as early as 2026-10-25 Languages: English or French Tasks: - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties - Bathe, dress and feed infants and children - Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Organize activities such as games and outings for children - Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Prepare infants and children for rest periods - Supervise and care for children - Take children to and from school and to appointments - Tend to emotional well-being of children - Help children with homework Care for: multi-aged group of children, twins, school age (6-12 years), kindergarten age (4-5 years) Personal suitability: client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience How to apply: Email your application to chanjohnston82@gmail.com Your application must include: job reference number AC3415-06, a cover letter, references attesting experience and a letter of recommendation, an answer to the screening question: Do you have experience working in this field?
