Main Duties • Coordinate access and use of computer networks • Install web server hardware and software • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, computer workstations and peripheral equipment • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks • Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software • Provide problem-solving services to network users • Implement data, software and hardware security procedures • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance Experience and specialization - Computer and technology knowledge • Virtualization • MAC • Networking software • Networking hardware • Networking security • Servers • Desktop applications • Communication software • Project management software • Mapping and data visualization software • SharePoint • Database software • MS Office • MS Windows • Firewall • MS Active Directory Qualifications and Skills • Proven experience in server, network, and desktop support (Server 2019 OS, Hyper-V Manager, VMware ESXi, Windows 10/11, MS Office, Android, Mac, Printers, Scanners, MFP) • Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques (LAN/WAN routers, firewalls, switches, patch panels – Cisco, Netgear, Fortigate, Unifi) • Experience with VOIP systems and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams) • Familiarity with business software applications (Sage, TMO, Wrike, TeamViewer) and CRM databases (ACT, InfoFlo, High Level) • Ability to provide remote and on-site technical support • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Experience with Wrike is considered an asset • Experience in the mortgage industry is considered an asset Work location 1201 West Pender Street suite 350 Vancouver, BC V6E 2V2 How to apply By email adminhr@tricitygroup.ca
