Business Address: 201 - 13395, 76 Ave., Surrey, British Columbia V3W 6K2 Title of position: Flooring Installer No. of positions: 1 Wages: $30.00/hr for 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time, year-round work Work Location: Surrey, BC and various locations across the lower mainland Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Description for the position of Flooring Installer at DK Floors Ltd. is as: • Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. • Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. • Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. • Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. • Prepare and install hardwood floors. • Prepare floors for installations. • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. • Install outdoor carpets. • Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms. • Perform other tasks as required. Skills and Experience requirement: • Completion of Secondary Education is required. • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is required. • Ability to communicate in English. • Heavy lifting may be required.
