Vacancy: 1 vacancy Type of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time, 35-40 hours /week Availability: As soon as possible Job Requirements: Languages: English Location: Based out of 5944 128A Street, Surrey, BC V3X 0C1 Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee. Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Salary: 36.70/hr Job Requirements: Tasks: - Install and repair all type of asphalt shingles. - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements - Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings - Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems - Repair roofing systems - Supervise other workers - Utilize a variety of roofing tools and equipment to complete installations and repairs. - Install roofing vents and other necessary components. - Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. - Perform heavy lifting as required during roofing installations Newcomers and Indigenous are welcome to apply Free transportation provided by employer Free lunch from employer once a week!
