Klassen Agriventures Ltd. located in Linden, AB T0M 1J0 (303007 Range Road 250 and 304068 Range Road 244) is looking for two Livestock Labourers (NOC: 85100).

Salary: $20.00/ Hour for 40 to 60 Hours / Week

Tasks: Tend livestock; Sort, brand and handle animals; May monitor health of animals and provide care; Assist with livestock health management; Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards and pens; Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens; Mark livestock as proof of ownership; Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas; Perform general farm duties; May prepare animals for transportation; May operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: ability to work independently; work under pressure; physically demanding; attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking; hand-eye co-ordination; sound discrimination; standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling; fast-paced environment; tight deadlines; repetitive tasks; handling heavy loads; large workload; ability to distinguish between colours.
Work Site Environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, Livestock, Outdoors, Odours, Dusty
Work Setting: Rural area; various locations
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
