Salary: $24.00 to $32.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week, early morning, evening, morning, night, day, weekend, overtime required, Overtime available

Terms of employment Permanent employment, full-time

Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Provide towing and roadside assistance in a safe, professional, and timely manner,
free of accidents, injury, and damage
• Invoices, log sheets, and paperwork must be prepared completely, correctly, and on time for processing
• Complete pre-trip inspection sheets daily • Maintain truck fluid levels according to manufacturer
instructions
• Abide by Municipal, Provincial, and Federal Laws, rules ordinances, and maintain a clean driving record
• Receive and accept calls as dispatched through the Tow book Software and clear calls when the job is finished
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and antifreeze
• Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires and tire chains
• Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
• Complete and turn in pre-trip truck inspections before the shift starts
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travel and fuel consumption •Maintain truck and equipment in a safe, clean condition
• Drive defensively, always wear your seatbelt, remember the 4-second following rule,
minimize backing and left turns
