Work location on site

Salary: $38.00 hourly/30 to 35 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full-time, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend

Starts as soon as possible

Experience
3 years to less than 5 years OR Completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Review work orders and discuss assigned tasks with the supervising technician
• Assist senior technicians in inspecting vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions
• Perform basic diagnostic inspections using hand tools and diagnostic equipment, and report findings to the supervising technician
• Assist with inspecting engines and mechanical systems while in operation and with road testing vehicles to identify performance and mechanical issues
• Assist in adjusting, repairing, or replacing automotive parts and components (including fuel, brake, steering, suspension, engine, and electrical systems) under supervision
• Assist with testing and adjusting repaired systems to the manufacturer's performance specifications
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports documenting vehicle problems and work performed
