The Honest Butcher located at 130 Manville Road, Scarborough, Ontario is looking for a full-time Butcher for a salary of; $36.00 per hour for 40.0 hours per week.



Qualifications;

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in cutting and slicing meat at wholesale or retail store.
• In-depth knowledge of halal meat processing
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Ability to work under physically demanding
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Completion of secondary school is required.


Job Duties;
• Trim, cut, bone, slice or grind meat as required
• Use manual tools to cut as well as grinding and packing machine equipment
• Display meats, prices, weighs and package for sale.
• Plan delivery schedule for orders from customers
• Keep records of sales, budgets and manage inventory
• Inspect meat and meat products with extreme caution
• Comply with food safety standards by cleaning and sterilising work counter and equipment
• Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters.
