CB & MH Enterprise Ltd. dba Tom Sushi is looking for cooks.

Position: Cook
Available Position: 2
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
Work Hour: 30-40 hours per week
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4% gross salary
Work Location: 1175 Davie Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1N2
Job Duties:
-Prepare complete meals and menu items.
-Prepare sashimi and sushi using raw fish and seafood with attention to hygiene and safe food handling protocols.
-Train other kitchen helpers in preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine and sushi.
-Maintain and operate kitchen equipment according to rules and regulations
-Prepare foods according to dietary restrictions or custom requests.
-Keep kitchen clean and sanitized, especially keeping the raw ingredients fresh for service.

Requirements:
-Completion of secondary school
-2-3 years work experience as a commercial cook is required or completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program at a culinary institution.
-English is required
