Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of three children (4 year old and 7 year old twins) during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Tend to emotional well-being of the children
- Assist with dressing and bathing
- Diaper changing, as needed
- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Accompany children to/from activities and appointments
- Organise and supervise children’s activities and rest periods
- Help with homework and educational activities
- Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks, while considering dietary restrictions/preferences
- Light housekeeping

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Time management, Patience, Honesty

Salary: $16.10/hour
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks throughout the day
Tuesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks throughout the day
Wednesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks throughout the day
Thursday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks throughout the day
Friday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks throughout the day
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
