Wages: $16.75/hr for 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Permanent, year-round work

Job Description for the position of Food Counter Attendant at Donair Shack is as:

• Take orders (in person and over the phone) and serve customers at the counter.
• Portion, assemble and wrap food.
• Package and handover take-out food to the customers.
• Prepare, heat and finish food items; as trained.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies.
• Ensure the cleanliness of food counter, tables and eating area.
• Keep the stock in refrigerators, salad bars and food counter containers.
• Place dishes in storage area; operate dishwashers to wash dishes.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• May receive payment from the customers for food items purchased.
• Other related duties as required.

Skills and Experience requirement:

• Secondary school education would be an asset.
• On-the-job training is provided. Previous relevant experience would be an asset.
• Ability to work late evenings, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate in English.
