Responsibilities:

• Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff members, including Sandwich artists and other employees.
• Oversee the food preparation process, ensuring that all the Chopped Leaf sandwiches and other menu items are made according to the chopped leaf's specific recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Ensure that customers are greeted in a friendly and efficient manner and that their orders are prepared accurately and to their satisfaction.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that ingredients are fresh and available for food preparation.
• Responsible for handling cash register and ensure that all transactions are accurate and secure and balance the cash register at the end of each shift and make bank deposits.
• Assist Manager in creating employee schedules and managing staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods and reduce labor costs during slower times.
• Address operational challenges and issues as they arise, finding solutions to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
• Assist with implementing marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales and attract new customers.
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and other aspects of restaurant operations for management and the chopped leaf's corporate office.
