Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Duration/Type: Permanent/Full Time
Work Location: 452 St. Claire Street, Chatham, ON, N7L 3K7
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32 Hours a week
Salary: $21.88 per hour
Main responsibilities/duties
•Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
•Balance Cash and complete balance sheets, cash sheets and related forms
•Organize inventory, monitor revenue and modify procedures
•Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
•Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
•Set staff work schedule and Monitor staff performance
•Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of Tim Horton
•Assist the Manager in Staff-recruitment and oversee staff-training
•Assist in managing the restaurant by maintaining the fast and accurate service, positive guest relations and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards.
Main Resposibilities/Duties
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience is required.
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Requires intermediate communication skills in English Language with an ability to deal with all levels of employees and customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
