Salary: $20.00- $21.00 / Hour for 32-40 Hours / Week
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Hairstylist Licence
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, effective interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability

Hairstylist Specific Skills: Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair; Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences; Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair; Apply hair extensions; Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Roller setting
Hair Colouring Techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Frosting, Streaking/highlights
Additional Skills: Book appointments; Shampoo customers' hair; Perform receptionist duties; Maintain and order supplies
