Job Description

1207201 Alberta Ltd. o/a Crossroads Esso is looking for a Retail Store Supervisor (permanent / full time position).

- Job title: Retail Store Supervisor
- Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
- Location: PO Box 509, 5020-54 Street, Viking, AB T0B 4N0
- Start date: As soon as possible

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure pricing is correct.
- Open and close the store by performing duties, such as opening and closing tills, unlocking and securing the store.
- Supervise and co-ordinate work schedules and work activities of staff.
- Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
- Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock by placing orders.
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising, fuel, oil and personnel matters.
- Sell merchandise to customers
- Assist in recruiting/ hiring and training of new staff.
- Resolve any issues (i.e. Customer complaints, Shortage of stock)
- Authorize payment transactions and return of merchandise.
- Sort and shelve incoming goods.
- Oversee the overall customer service and operational functions, including sales, cashiering merchandising, etc. inside the store and gas station

Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Combination of sitting, standing and walking, Standing for extended periods, Attention to details, Supervisory / leadership skills

Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
- Completion of high school education
- Previous retail sales work experience is required

- Salary: $20 per hour for 35 ~ 40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year

- Vacation pay: 4% vacation pay
